Salary Range: 31 To 48 (USD) Hourly
Under limited supervision, the Medical Staff Coordinator serves as an essential link and resource between senior management and medical staff to coordinate the operational processes and ongoing credentialing, privileging, and medical staff governance functions of the Medical Staff Department. Responsible for review, analysis and follow up of credentialing and privileges applications, maintaining strict confidentiality and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and accrediting and regulatory agencies. Requirements: Minimum 2 years’ experience in an acute care hospital environment with experience, preferably in a Medical Staff Office Medical Staff Certification (CPMSM or CPCS) desirable Working knowledge of Joint Commission, title XXII, NPDB, MBC, DEA Familiar with Word, Excel, Micro Med desirable Ability to communicate effectively, demonstrate diplomacy, discretion, confidentiality, tact and sound judgment Benefits:Medical, dental and vision coverage is provided for all full time and part time employees*Medical is 100% employer paid including dependentsBasic Life and AD&D401k plan with company matchGenerous PTO plan*Pet Insurance Discount Program*Employee Discount Program**per diem staff ineligible
