SUMMARY:
The Deployment Coordinator role at Integrated Health Systems (IHS) is both strategic and hands-on. This position combines project management, technical execution, and field operations oversight. The Deployment Coordinator serve as the primary point of contact for client deployments, supporting field technicians, conducting site surveys (in-person or virtual), and ensuring project documentation (As-Builts, Fit & Finish, Final Walk-throughs) is accurate and complete. This role requires balancing client communication, technician support, and documentation ownership to ensure each deployment is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned deployment projects.
- Define and manage project scope, schedules, and deliverables.
- Provide guidance and real-time support for field technicians during deployments.
- Conduct site surveys (on-site or virtual) to validate infrastructure and installation needs.
- Support technical tasks including Wi-Fi validation, sensor placement, and device configuration.
- Collect and verify Fit & Finish and Final Walk-through documentation from technicians.
- Own the creation of As-Built documentation, including diagrams, heat maps, and validation reports.
- Complete closeout paperwork for billing, compliance, and client records.
- Provide timely project updates to leadership, clients, and stakeholders.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 - 5 years of experience in IT/low-voltage deployments, project management, or field operations.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (Wi-Fi, PoE, cabling, device configuration).
- Proven ability to manage and support field technicians.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools (Smartsheet, Autotask, or similar).
- Willingness to travel regionally/nationally as required (up to 25 - 40%).
- Experience in healthcare, senior living, or other regulated environments.
- Familiarity with wireless survey tools (NetSpot, Ekahau, etc.).
- Knowledge of IoT/sensor deployments and structured cabling.
- Strong attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
