What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Biller-Insurance A/R Specialist position at Integrated Health Care?
Multi-specialty physician billing service is seeking a Medical Billing Insurance A/R Specialist
- 2-4 plus years of medical billing experience and a working knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT4 coding is required
- Prior experience and working knowledge of the Revenue Cycle Management tasks of data entry, payment posting and collection activities
- Must have prior experience and working knowledge of claims, appeals, explanation of benefits and working insurance accounts receivable reports
- Familiar with medical terminology and coding experience is beneficial
- Great written and oral communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Current work experience with the Medisoft Patient Accounting software is highly preferred
- Working knowledge of Excel is required
Must be able to multi-task and work a claim until successful completion
