Responsibilities
- Lead diverse group fitness classes such as Pilates, Yoga, Cycling, CrossFit, and dance-based workouts with enthusiasm and clarity.
- Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and body mechanics to ensure safety and maximize effectiveness.
- Design tailored workout programs that cater to different fitness levels and goals, incorporating biomechanical principles and physiology knowledge.
- Provide hands-on coaching, feedback, and motivation to help participants improve form and performance.
- Ensure all activities adhere to health and safety standards, including manual handling procedures and first aid protocols.
- Operate AED devices and perform CPR in emergency situations confidently.
- Maintain a clean, organized studio environment and keep accurate records of class attendance and participant progress.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in group fitness instruction or personal training within a gym or health club setting.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and body mechanics relevant to exercise programming.
- Certifications in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED operation (Automated External Defibrillator), First Aid, and relevant fitness disciplines such as Yoga, Pilates, Sports Coaching or CrossFit.
- Skilled in coaching diverse populations with excellent demonstration and teaching abilities.
- Familiarity with gym equipment operation including cycling bikes, heavy lifting techniques, and manual handling safety procedures.
- Ability to motivate participants through energetic coaching styles while maintaining professionalism and safety standards.
- Passion for health promotion with additional skills in dance or sports coaching considered a plus.
