Our client, a well-respected and growing organization, is seeking an experienced accounting professional to help lead and expand their Accounting Services function. This role plays a key part in overseeing financial processes, enhancing operational efficiency, supporting client and internal initiatives, and contributing to team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Accounting Services department, including structure, workflow, and team development.
- Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Support clients through monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting cycles.
- Serve as a subject matter expert during client onboarding and in ongoing client meetings.
- Provide strategic and technical accounting insights to leadership, consultants, and clients.
- Recruit, coach, and mentor accounting team members.
- Build strong relationships with clients, advisors, and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Active CPA preferred; strong consideration given to candidates with equivalent experience and technical depth.
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting processes.
- Experience leading teams or managing staff.
Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
