The Machine Assembly Technician I is responsible for assembling mechanical units, fabricated parts/components, and/or electrical/electronic systems to make sub-assemblies, assemblies or complete units.
This position reports to the Value Stream Leader-Machine Assembly and is part of the Machine Assembly team located in Coralville Iowa and will be an on-site role. This role is anticipated to work a weekday day shift (Monday-Friday, 7:00a-4:00p).

The Machine Assembly Technician I is responsible for assembling mechanical units, fabricated parts/components, and/or electrical/electronic systems to make sub-assemblies, assemblies or complete units.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To
- Sets up and operates automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation.
- Follows engineering drawings, work order information, Manufacturing Assembly Procedures, SOPs, and other written and verbal specifications in the manufacturing process.
- Assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts/components, and/or electrical/electronic systems to make sub-assemblies, assemblies or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures and miscellaneous equipment.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings
- Install, modify, troubleshoot machinery and equipment according to requisition established documentation
- Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.
- Ability to travel when needed
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 75lb, any other physical requirements
- Experience in Using ERP systems
- Following SOPS
- Machine Operating, Process Operations, Product Assembly, and Production Technician roles.
