This position is part of the finance department located in Coralville, IA and will be onsite. At IDT, we are one global team. We celebrate our differences, engage in healthy debate, and are inclusive. Together, we accomplish great things.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To

• Contributes to the maintenance and reconciliation of the general ledger for tax related accounts
• Support the development, implementation, and documentation of procedures, processes and internal controls – including owning the Tax Certification process for Corporate
• Acts as preparer for US indirect taxes and Canadian tax compliance (GST/HST/QST) calculations, deliverables, and payments
• Assists in development of transfer pricing analysis on a quarterly basis and the annual R&D Tax Credit analysis and documentation.
• Contributes to Corporate direct tax deliverables such as soft-close provision, year-end tax reporting package, legal entity EBT Forecasting, and Tax Rollforward
  
  

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting relating field with 2 years of experience OR Masters Degree in accounting with 0 years experience
• Professional accounting/tax expertise
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Internal Revenue Code (IRC)
• Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP
• Prior experience with internal controls over financial reporting (SOX)
  
  

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• CPA preferred
• Vertex preferred
