Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging daily instruction in all core subjects, including:
- English Language Arts
- Mathematics
- Science
- Social Studies
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment that supports student learning and well-being.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide timely feedback to students and families.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with grade-level and school staff to maintain continuity of curriculum and instructional practices.
- Manage classroom routines, behavior expectations, and transitions effectively.
- Communicate consistently and professionally with parents/guardians, administrators, and support staff.
- Participate in required school events, meetings, and professional responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification (Elementary or Middle Grades 4-8).
- Experience teaching or working with upper elementary/middle school students.
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
