As a result, we are now seeking a Regional Sales Manager based in Texas (the ideal candidate will be based in Austin or Houston) to join our motivated and innovative sales team to deliver on strategic values through account management of existing key customers and driving new business development to extend our client base. The successful applicant will have both technical aptitude and a proven track record in a technical sales environment, together with a charismatic, outgoing personality and natural ability to build rapport with a broad range of people. We are looking for a proactive relationship-builder with outstanding communication skills, who possesses good commercial acumen, and is confident in their ability to represent our highly innovative technical solutions across diverse and often complex industries.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and nurture new business relationships and strategic partnerships to meet and exceed territory quota
- Evangelize corporate messaging, demonstrating ICT’s unique value proposition and competitive differentiators within the market
- Manage fast-paced sales cycles, while navigating long-term strategic engagements to build the territory
- Collaborate with internal lead generation resources to establish pipeline of business and expand opportunities within the territory
- Provide transparency and accuracy in sales forecasting and business intelligence
- Maintain and deliver on best practices and activity updates around CRM
Key requirements:
- Skilled in selling techniques with a minimum of 5 years’ experience
- A proven track record of consistent sales quota achievement
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Technical aptitude, capable of communicating key technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Must be a highly motivated self-starter with excellent organizational skills
- Must be able to travel
- Experience in the technology or security industry is a plus!
