Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and skilled Panel Builder for a 6-month contract position, with potential for full-time employment based on performance and the company’s workload and staffing needs.
Responsibilities
- Build and wire electrical control panels.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
- Install and connect electrical components.
- Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and ohmmeters/multimeters.
- Perform basic machining and drilling.
- Work with PLCs, VFDs, and other industrial control equipment.
- Troubleshoot wiring and electrical connections.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Qualifications
- Experience reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and controls.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Ability to use measuring and electrical testing equipment.
- Basic machining skills.
- PLC/industrial automation experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and willingness to learn.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move equipment and materials as needed.
- Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and work in various positions.
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
- Ability to work in a shop/warehouse environment.
Contract Opportunity
This is an initial 6-month contract. At the end of the contract, full-time employment may be offered based on work performance, reliability, skill level, team fit, and the company’s current workload and business needs. Full-time employment is not guaranteed.
Pay: $22.50 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
