ABOUT THE JOB
Personal Development Navigators provide one-on-one guidance to individuals with disabilities as they work towards their personal goals and overall independence. Activities can range from teaching cooking skills to a young adult who lives with their parents, to providing conflict resolution between roommates, to motivating a person towards their exercise goals by going on hikes.
This job can be part time or full time, $20-25/hr depending on experience and caseload. Shifts vary between 9am-5pm and/or 6pm-9am at locations throughout Marin.
EMPLOYEE BENEFITS

- Commuter stipend up to $53/month, depending on distance of commute

DUTIES
- Partner with clients as they work towards their goals, such as transportation, domestic skills, socialization, financial skills, personal health and hygiene
- Keep detailed progress notes after each session and update the client's file on the computer
- Complete and submit all forms on time
- Attend case conferences with clients, families and other agencies
- Attend staff meetings to discuss current cases and brainstorm creative solutions to challenges
QUALIFICATIONS
- Basic computer literacy, specifically with Gmail and Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid identification, such as Real ID, driver’s license, or passport, required. Abackground check will be conducted.
