Facility Coordinator Job Description
Our Facility Coordinators work directly with hospitals, nursing homes and assisted living facilities as the direct line of communication to IBH and our providers. This is an in-office position at our corporate office in Madison, AL.

Facility Coordinator Responsibilities
- Coordinate new admissions into IBH by collecting patient information, verifying insurance, obtaining financial consent forms, scanning documents, and maintaining facility and referral spreadsheets.
- Communicate daily with our providers about the facilities needs and adjustments.
- Schedule IBH Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, and Social Workers for patient consultations and treatments as needed.
- Audit patient census for accuracy and make edits as necessary.
- Communicate with our physicians, nurse practitioners and social workers to provide updated patient information.
Facility Coordinator Position Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; some post high school training in healthcare preferred
- 2-3 years experience working in a long term care/assisted living.
- Experience working with medical insurance verifications.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and Electronic Medical Records.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
