Medical Office Receptionist Job Description
- Integrated Behavioral Health is searching for a Medical Office Receptionist who will have core responsibilities in a diverse range of administrative support needs. Our receptionists are key members of our patient care team! This highly organized and customer-service minded position works internally with management and other office staff on a daily and weekly basis.
- Office hours are Monday-Thursday 8-6pm and Friday 8-12pm. Some mornings may require a starting time of 6:30am.

Medical Office Receptionist Responsibilities
- Greeting patients
- Answering the phone
- Scheduling patient follow up appointments
- Verifying insurance
- Generating invoices for patient visits
- Follow up on issues such as prescription refills, appointment reminders, documentation, etc.
Medical Office Receptionist Position Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED; some post-secondary preferred
- At least 2 years experience in medical office/clinic/hospital
- Proficiency with EMRs and Microsoft Office products
- Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
