- Collect accurate session data and complete daily session notes using electronic systems.
- Participate in required supervision, training, and team meetings, and apply feedback to strengthen your skills.
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with caregivers, supervisors, and team members.
- Maintain client confidentiality and follow all HIPAA, privacy, and agency policies when handling protected information.
- Arrive on time, maintain reliable attendance, and travel independently to assigned service locations as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Active BACB RBT certification in good standing, or willingness and ability to complete RBT requirements before starting, including holding the 40-hour training, Initial Competency Assessment, and RBT exam.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of ABA experience or closely related direct-service experience is preferred for this position.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Professional, ethical, and responsible approach to working with clients and families.
- Ability to successfully complete a background check in accordance with state and federal requirements.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to in-home sessions as scheduled.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with autistic children or adolescents in home, clinic, school, or community settings.
- Familiarity with electronic data collection systems, tablets, or mobile apps.
- CPR/First Aid certification, crisis-prevention training, and/or bilingual skills.
Supervision and Compliance
RBT services are provided under the direction and supervision of a qualified behavior analyst, such as a BCBA, BCBA-D, or BCaBA, in accordance with BACB standards. Ongoing training in HIPAA, privacy, and organizational policies will be provided, and compliance with these requirements is expected as part of continued employment.
