IT Specialist, Sr

The IT Specialist, Sr supports all aspects of IS lifecycle management, including user access control, incident response, system sanitization, and maintenance of authorization documentation. for the Program Manager of Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PM PNT).

• Responsibilities include developing and implementing IS training programs, continuous monitoring initiatives, and proactive IT infrastructure improvements.
• Provides direct support for PM PNT IT hardware, software, and audiovisual equipment, troubleshooting issues, recommending solutions, and maintaining secure network access across multiple platforms (NIPR, SIPR, JWICS).
• Maintains current certifications (DoD 8570.01M compliant) and actively participates in IT knowledge communities to deliver informed recommendations to PM PNT leadership are key components of this position.
• Assist Government personnel in obtaining and maintaining classified network access.
  
  
  

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related scientific or technical discipline, with seven (7) years of related experience. OR
• Four (4) years of military service with seven (7) years of related experience.
