Overview The Cyber Security Specialist Senior provides TSA's Trusted Operations, Maintenance, Cybersecurity, Assurance, and Technology (TOMCAT) operational continuity, service excellence, security, and adaptive IT/OT Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support. Responsibilities
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and remediate security weaknesses in networks, systems, and applications.
- Monitor security access and analyze system logs and network traffic for suspicious activities or potential threats.
- Administer, configure, and maintain security tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
- Lead incident response efforts by investigating security breaches, determining the root cause, and coordinating recovery actions.
- Develop and enforce information security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards. Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a similar Information Technology Field.
- 7 years' experience in cybersecurity operations.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certified
- Secret Clearance Salary Range: $135,000 - $154,000 The above salary range represents a general guideline. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and/or discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay.
