Job Summary: The primary purpose of the position is to assist, observe and supervise residents in order to maintain appropriate safety care and guidance with some ability to perform rehabilitative direct client-care work, assisting adolescent individuals with mental health and/or substance use diagnosis with their daily care needs and routines, to include safety checks, observing clients' self-administration of medication, cooking, cleaning, support with attending and engaging in programming milieu, etc. The position requires staff to foster, motivate and promote positive interactions and intervene in crisis de-escalation as well as encourage clients' participation in social and developmental activities within the program perimeters. This work is performed under the supervision of the residential care manager alongside the unit leadership, Practice Manager, RN Supervisor, and/or Practice Administrator. The crisis residential caseworker assistant must be able to work independently, under the direction of the supervisor(s), within a team dynamic and structure of the therapeutic environment of care.
Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule.

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Required:
- Current and valid Texas driver's license and a clean driving record.
Preferred:
- Experience working with adolescents.
Workhours: 9:00PM - 7:00AM.
Workdays: Saturday and Sunday.
Salary: $21.66 an hour, plus an additional 10% crisis stipend.
Position may be eligible for an additional shift differential pay.
- Second Shift: $3.25/hour.
- Third Shift: $7.25/hour.
- Weekend Shift: $8.00/hour.
