Job Summary: The Intake Specialist provides assessments and diagnostic services to children with serious mental illness and their families. The Intake Specialist works in partnership with racially and culturally diverse individuals and families to define and facilitate their desired life outcomes. The Intake Specialist provides support for diagnostic evaluations and provides assessment of strengths, preferences, challenges and symptoms of psychiatric and/or co-occurring disorder(s). The Intake Specialist may also provide crisis assessment and interventions as needed.
The Intake Specialist works on a team with other behavioral health professionals to coordinate client care.
Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule.

Salary: $24.18 - $25.39 an hour based on education.

Education
- Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree with a major specialization in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field required. Masters Degree preferred.
Required:
- Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Bilingual preferred.
