The Director of Grants Finance will oversee the financial management and compliance of grants to ensure efficient allocation of resources and accurate reporting. This full-time, on-site role based in Austin, TX, involves managing financial operations related to grant funding, preparing budgets and financial reports, monitoring expenditures, and ensuring adherence to grant regulations. The Director will collaborate with program teams, stakeholders, and funders to maintain transparency and compliance. Additionally, the individual will implement policies, analyze financial trends, and support organizational decision-making through accurate financial insights.
- Expertise in grant accounting, budget management, and financial analysis
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local grant compliance regulations
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Experience in team leadership, staff training, and collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Previous experience in grant financial management, preferably in healthcare, nonprofit, or government sectors
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- CPA or equivalent financial certification is a plus
