The Opportunity

The CAD Master Assembly Lead is responsible for developing, maintaining, and governing master CAD assemblies that support Integra Mission Critical’s modular data centers, full-scale construction projects, and integrated power and cooling infrastructure. This role ensures CAD assemblies are accurate, standardized, and scalable, serving as the single source of truth for engineering, manufacturing, and project execution while supporting design integrity and cross-discipline coordination.

What you will do?

  • Develop, maintain, and manage master CAD assemblies that integrate mechanical, electrical, structural, and controls components.
  • Establish and enforce CAD assembly standards, naming conventions, modeling practices, and configuration rules.
  • Coordinate with Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, and Controls design teams to ensure assemblies remain accurate and current.
  • Ensure master assemblies support design for manufacturability, constructability, and modular scalability.
  • Manage revision control, configuration changes, and release processes for master assemblies.
  • Support engineering change requests by updating master models and validating downstream impacts.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to designers and engineers on assembly best practices.
  • Troubleshoot CAD assembly issues related to performance, data integrity, or cross-discipline conflicts.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to CAD workflows, tools, and data management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support operational and organizational objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced proficiency in CAD modeling and large-scale assembly management.
  • Strong understanding of multi-discipline engineering integration within complex product environments.
  • Ability to manage configuration, revision control, and data integrity in fast-paced design settings.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to design accuracy and quality.
  • 7 years of experience in CAD design, engineering design support, or product modeling roles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CAD software certifications (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD, Revit) preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex or large-scale CAD assemblies.
  • Experience in industrial, modular, manufacturing, or infrastructure environments preferred.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and extensive CAD experience may be considered.
