Cleaner

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Cleaner to join our property management team. We are a family owned business that manages a portfolio of multi and single family residential rentals. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks from routine common area maintenance to post renovation make-ready cleans before a tenant moves in. This position offers an opportunity to work in dynamic environments where attention to detail and a proactive attitude are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of designated common areas, including: hallways, entries, and shared laundry rooms
• Upon rental turnovers, get units ready for occupancy by deep cleaning floors, bathrooms, kitchens, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas when required, including sweeping walkways and debris/trash from parking lots
• Follow established procedures to ensure consistency and quality in all cleaning activities

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or housekeeping
• Knowledge of residential cleaning techniques and standards
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work when necessary
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively within scheduled shifts
• Familiarity with floor care techniques such as carpet cleaning and floor polishing
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
