Household Manager and Pet Care Specialist

Overview: We are seeking a reliable, organized, and compassionate Household Manager to manage daily home operations and provide exceptional care for our three beloved dogs. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about maintaining a warm, welcoming, and well-maintained home while ensuring the happiness and well-being of our pets. This role requires multitasking, flexibility, and a genuine love for dogs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Pet Care:
• Walk three dogs, ensuring each receives adequate exercise and attention.
• Bathe and groom three dogs regularly
• Monitor the health, behavior, and needs of all three dogs, reporting any concerns promptly.
• Household Cleaning and Maintenance:
• Perform regular cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and tidying designated areas of the home.
• Manage laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing as needed.
• Wash and organize dishes, ensuring the kitchen remains clean and functional.
• Assist with minor home maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, organizing storage areas, or coordinating repairs with external vendors.
• Errands and Returns:
• Run errands, such as grocery shopping, picking up supplies, or dropping off/picking up packages.
• Handle returns of online or in-store purchases, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Meal Preparation:
• Plan and cook nutritious, home-cooked meals based on provided preferences or dietary requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen during and after meal preparation.
• Holiday and Seasonal Decorating:
• Decorate the home for holidays and special occasions, ensuring a festive and inviting atmosphere.
• Store decorations properly after use and maintain an inventory of seasonal items.
• General Household Management:
• Organize and maintain household schedules, such as coordinating appointments or deliveries.
• Ensure the home remains tidy, welcoming, and functional for all residents.
• Anticipate household needs and proactively address them to maintain smooth operations.
Qualifications:
• Genuine love for dogs and experience caring for multiple pets (experience with three dogs preferred).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience with household cleaning, laundry, and basic home maintenance.
• Basic cooking skills and the ability to follow recipes or dietary guidelines.
• Comfortable running errands and managing returns with attention to detail.
• Creative flair for holiday decorating and maintaining a warm home environment.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for errands.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as cleaning, lifting, and walking three dogs.

• Prior experience as a household manager, pet sitter, or similar role.
• Familiarity with dog training or behavior, especially for managing multiple dogs.

Work Schedule:
• Flexible, with hours to be determined based on household and pet care needs. Typically, 10-15 hours per week.
Compensation:
• Competitive hourly rate or salary, commensurate with experience $20-25.
