Mechanical EIT

We’re looking for a motivated Mechanical Engineer in Training (EIT) with 2–4 years of experience to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to grow your technical skills, gain hands-on project experience, and work alongside senior engineers on a variety of mechanical design projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn in a collaborative environment.

The compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and target sales performance incentive. This position has a target total compensation range of $80,000 - $110,000. Base salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and documentation of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and related infrastructure.
• Support senior engineers with calculations, equipment selection, and layout development.
• Prepare drawings and technical documentation using Revit and other design tools.
• Coordinate with internal design disciplines and external partners to ensure accuracy and alignment.
• Review project requirements, codes, and standards to support compliant and efficient designs.
• Manage multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Participate in project meetings and help track progress and design updates.
• Continue developing technical and professional skills through mentorship and on-the-job learning.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 2–4 years of mechanical design experience.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification, or ability to obtain within one year.
• Motivated learner with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Experience with Revit or other design software preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
