Warehouse Lead

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and maintain warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
- Assist to develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate logistics and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Utilize transportation management systems to track shipments and manage transportation routes.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and reduce costs.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control measures to minimize stock discrepancies.

- Perform shipping/receiving duties utilizing known software packages.

- Applicable knowledge of both domestic and international shipping via common LTL carriers as well as courier services such as FedEx, UPS, DHL etc.

Skills:
- Strong background in shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.
- Knowledge of logistics principles and practices.
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems and other relevant software.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies, such as lean principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
