Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with product inquiries and purchases.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing store through effective merchandising and stocking practices.
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
- Upsell products by understanding customer needs and recommending suitable options.
- Ensure compliance with phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
- Foster a positive shopping environment through excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Stay familiar with the store’s merchandise to answer questions and provide informed recommendations.
- Help maintain product displays and ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Share guest feedback, requests, and suggestions with the team to improve service and product offerings.
- Resolve minor customer concerns in a professional manner and escalate as necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred.
