We’re looking for a Staff Accountant who’s ready to join a high-energy team, dive into the details, and help shape the foundation of our financial operations.
What You’ll Do
As a Staff Accountant at Intake Breathing, you’ll support the day-to-day accounting operations and help strengthen the backbone of our financial infrastructure. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and transparency in all financial activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions
- Support Payroll processing and related journal entries
- Perform general ledger reconciliations and assist with month-end close and financial reporting
- Maintain accurate records in NetSuite and contribute to system improvements as we scale
- Assist with audits, financial statement preparation, and process documentation
- Collaborate with operations, sales, and leadership teams to align financial data with business goals
- Jump in where needed — we’re a startup, and flexibility is key!
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2 years of accounting experience, ideally in a startup, CPG, or B2C environment
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite required
- Strong understanding of AP, AR, and Payroll functions
- Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to identify workflow optimizations through automations or AI
- A proactive mindset — you see a gap, and you fill it
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- CPA or CPA track preferred
