Intact’s Global Specialty Lines business spans across more than 20 verticals in four distinct markets: U.S., Canada, UK and Europe. The following opportunity is for our U.S. team.

The opportunity

We currently have an opportunity for a Events Specialist to join our Marketing and Communications team based in our New York City, NY office on a hybrid schedule. This job is responsible for supporting marketing initiatives, systems, and research activities and project management initiatives. Some of the Marketing Specialist responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provides information which is used to identify and define marketing opportunities for the organization’s existing and potential markets.
• Reviews regional and territorial action plans, analysis and strategies to highlight opportunities and threats.
• Reviews the company’s regional marketing practices, potential changes, and weaknesses in marketing efforts.
• Coordinates with regions to develop, monitor and modify regional sales, and growth and retention plans in support of corporate level strategies.
• Provides management for various marketing responsibilities and conducts MIS reporting.
• Identifies new business opportunities and coordinates the renewal of key accounts throughout the territory. Prominently positions the company’s products by ensuring agency awareness of their features and benefits.
• Performs analyses and prepares recommendations in the areas of product preferences and marketing practices.
  
  

The expertise you bring

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4-6 years of experience of coordinating conferences and conventions.
• Must have proper documents for traveling within the US (Real ID or Passport)
• Ability to obtain a passport in the future for international travel
• TSA Precheck is a plus
  
  

Our salary ranges are determined by many factors including location, role, experience, and skillset of the candidate. The following ranges displayed reflect the target base salary for new hires, but your recruiter will share more specific compensation information with you during the hiring process. The typical base salary range for this position is: $69,000 – $96,000, based on the factors aforementioned. For candidates located in San Francisco, CA and the New York City metro area, the base salary range is $86,000 – $101,000. In addition to base salary, full-time Intact employees are also eligible for bonus potential and a full range of benefits to include but not limited to:
