The role of a Continuous Improvement Engineer is to drive manufacturing and business process improvements through the application of Lean principles, tools, and techniques. The successful candidate will identify opportunities for improvement, develop and execute action plans, and deliver results that eliminate waste.
Key Responsibilities:
- Servant Leadership
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills with strong team player abilities
- Data-Driven Approach to formulate and execute projects for improvements, sustain and measure results
- Create Value Stream Maps to identify production/process enhancement opportunities for safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements
- Lean Initiatives, including set-up reduction, workplace organization, standardized work, process/workflow improvements, and visual management
- Problem-Solving Leadership in key activities
- Lean Champion, trainer, coach, and mentor for large-scale change
- Factory Layouts, line design, and best practices with manufacturing engineering
- Digital Work Instructions using VKS software for shop floor and business processes
- Environmental, Health, and Safety Regulations compliance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
experience with Lean or Six Sigma focus - AutoCAD Exposure
- Problem Solver and engineer enthusiast
