Job Purpose: Support internal technology operations, assist end users with troubleshooting, manage IT-related processes, and contribute to automation and system improvements. This role combines elements of IT support, systems administration, and business process automation, requiring both strong technical knowledge and the ability to work directly with employees across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
End User Support
- Provide troubleshooting and technical assistance to employees experiencing issues with laptops, software applications, and system access.
- Assist users with Microsoft Office 365 applications and related productivity tools.
- Coordinate and communicate with external or internal IT support teams to resolve escalated technical issues.
IT Asset & Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate records of company computer inventory.
- Track and manage computer purchases and equipment lifecycle.
- Assist with provisioning and setup of employee laptops and related hardware.
Security & Reporting
- Monitor monthly and quarterly IT security reports.
- Review reports on potential issues or vulnerabilities and coordinate with IT support teams as needed.
Website Maintenance
- Update and maintain website content as required.
- Ensure information remains accurate and current.
Automation & Process Improvement
- Develop and support automation solutions using tools such as Microsoft Power Automate.
- Assist with creation and maintenance of Power Apps solutions.
- Use Power BI to generate reports and dashboards.
- Support automation initiatives involving Excel-based robotic processes.
Software Development & AI Tools
- Utilize programming knowledge, including Python, to support automation and process improvements.
- Use AI-powered tools, including Microsoft Copilot, to assist with development, workflow automation, and efficiency improvements.
Qualifications & Education Minimum Requirements:
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
- Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI
- Knowledge of Python programming
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Microsoft Copilot
- Experience supporting end users with hardware and software troubleshooting
- Understanding of IT asset management and computer inventory tracking
- Ability to work with IT support teams and coordinate issue resolution
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
This role works closely with employees across departments and collaborates regularly with IT support providers to ensure systems, hardware, and software function efficiently across the organization.
Physical Requirements:
- May be required to sit at a desk or computer for long periods of time
- Ability to see details of objects at a close range (within a few feet of the observer)
- Ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands and wrists
Salary : $45,000 - $66,000
