Pay Details: The pay range for the Sales Manager is $50,000 - $110,000 / year (DOE) Plus performance-based bonuses
Location: In Person at 1496 N Higley Rd Gilbert, AZ 85234
What You Will Do:
- Supervise and take ownership of building the Gilbert location, develop a team, establish a strong sales culture, and drive production and growth.
- Expand business by proactively building relationships with existing customers to meet the agreed-upon production and active customer goals. Ability to educate and advise the customer on which products best fit their needs.
- Coach members of the sales team to deliver a standard of customer care consistently.
- Oversee the sales team to achieve operational targets by providing business plans and monitoring the performance of the sales team to ensure the specific portfolios of business performances are met.
- Deals with any escalated customer service issues and questions that may arise
- Increases new business by initiating contact with prospects through local store marketing efforts, community involvement, cold calling (face-to-face and phone), quote calls, and walk-ins to build interest, match needs with products and services, and close the sale to meet the agreed upon production and active customer goals.
- Executes all aspects of Branch Operational Excellence (BOE)
Key Attributes:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active Property & Casualty license
- 2 years of Property & Casualty Insurance sales or service experience
- 3 years of Staff Management experience
- Some Commercial Lines experience or knowledge helpful
- Proven track record of the ability to generate new business sales, or retain existing business, or cross-sell other lines of business
- Background in growing a Branch and building a successful team
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well on a team
- Precise verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to deliver a tailored, white-glove experience to all clients
Preferred Attributes:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience handling multi-carrier quoting preferred
- 2 years of Commercial Lines experience
- Prior Agency Owner a plus
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
