Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our account management team, you will be responsible for consulting with clients on coverage options, presenting renewal commercial accounts, and developing relationships with carriers.
The Role
In this role, you will:
- Consult with clients on coverage options and present the most suitable coverage for their needs.
- Establish and maintain direct contact with clients to ensure excellent customer service.
- Present renewal commercial accounts to clients and identify opportunities for cross-selling new business leads.
- Handle higher-level commercial accounts, providing clear explanations of coverage, claims, policy changes, and related matters.
- Develop and maintain relationships with carriers to ensure seamless communication and efficient claim resolution.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3 years of experience in a retail brokerage setting, with a generalist book of business focused on small to mid-sized accounts.
- Extensive experience with General Liability and Workers' Compensation is required.
- Knowledge of various lines of commercial insurance coverages and products, including standard carriers and surplus lines.
- P&C license is mandatory.
