Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Manager to lead our insurance specialist team and backend office. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of ACA, group, life, or supplemental insurance, and the ability to analyze trends to develop effective strategies. This role requires a proactive approach to managing teams and client relationships and ensuring that our services meet the diverse needs of our clients.
Duties
- Managing daily operations in the backend office, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Manage a team of insurance specialist providing training, support, and performance evaluations.
- Coordinate and monitor benefits administration to ensure clients receive optimal coverage options.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and market research findings.
- Plan and prepare internal processes and procedures and cross-train team in preparation for open enrollment.
- Stay current on healthcare regulations and CMS changes for compliance purposes.
Experience
- Proven experience in health insurance or benefits-related position is essential.
- Holds valid health/life insurance license is a plus or is qualified to obtain.
- Experience with healthcare exchange platforms a plus.
- Strong background in team management with a focus on achieving targets.
- Experience in benefits administration is preferred.
