Role Description This full-time, on-site Account Executive role is based in Medford, OR. The Account Executive will engage with customers in person, guiding them through insurance options and helping them compare plans from multiple carriers to find coverage that fits their needs and budget. Daily responsibilities include answering customer inquiries, explaining policy details in clear terms, generating quotes, and processing new applications and renewals. The role also involves maintaining accurate client records, following up on leads, and supporting marketing and outreach activities to grow the customer base. The Account Executive will collaborate with team members to ensure a consistent, high-quality experience across all Insurance Lounge channels.
Qualifications
- Customer service and client relationship skills, including the ability to listen actively, build trust, and provide clear, unbiased guidance.
- Sales and consultative skills focused on needs-based recommendations, cross-selling appropriate products, and confidently discussing insurance options.
- Organizational and administrative skills, such as managing multiple tasks, maintaining accurate records, and following established processes.
- Technology proficiency, including comfort with web-based platforms, CRM systems, and digital tools used in an insurtech environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information in a straightforward, accessible way.
- Ability to work on-site in Medford, OR, including occasional evenings or weekends as needed to support customer demand.
- Active insurance producer license (or ability to obtain one within a defined timeframe) is strongly preferred.
- Previous experience in insurance, financial services, or a customer-facing sales environment is beneficial.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, finance, or related fields is a plus.
