Key Responsibilities
Procurement Finance Support
- Partner with Strategic Sourcing and Procurement teams to analyze supplier spend, cost savings initiatives, and contract performance.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track procurement KPIs (e.g., cost savings, supplier performance, category spend).
- Support vendor negotiations with financial models and total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis.
- Monitor and report on purchase price variances (PPV) and material cost trends.
- Support CBOM sourcing initiatives and setting up alternative regional CBOMs.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to evaluate and prioritize capital investment proposals.
- Review ROI analysis for capital projects, including NPV, IRR, and payback period.
- Track and report capital spending against budget, highlighting variances and risks.
- Ensure compliance with capital approval policies and support the capital appropriation request (CAR) process.
- Develop and maintain detailed cash flow forecasts related to capital projects and procurement activities to include multi-year planning as well as quarterly for next 24 months.
- Partner with Treasury and FP&A teams to align CAPEX cash flow projections with broader liquidity planning.
- Monitor actual cash outflows versus forecast, and provide variance analysis with actionable insights.
- Identify timing risks and opportunities in capital deployment to optimize working capital and funding strategies.
- Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning for procurement and capital spending.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports with variance analysis and strategic recommendations.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and capital efficiency.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree; Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field preferred (MBA or CPA/CMA preferred).
- 3 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, preferably in a manufacturing, industrial, or capital-intensive environment.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, CapEx planning, and financial modeling.
- Experience with cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with financial systems (e.g., SAP, SAC, Power BI, Oracle, Hyperion).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Experience supporting capital projects, vendor negotiations, or strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Familiarity with project accounting, fixed asset management, and treasury collaboration.
- Strong business acumen and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
