We are hiring EXPERIENCED Mechanical Insulators & Mechanical Foremen for work in the Metro Washington D.C. Area for permanent career commercial insulation mechanic job positions. A Journeymen Insulator on Davis Bacon Wage Scales (Federal or State Funded projects) in the Washington D.C. Metro market will make over $42 per hour PPO Single/Family Health Care with $300 S/ $600 F Deductible and $2,000 or $4,600 coinsurance 80/20. (e.g. If you are single - and have medical expenses of $4k in a year - out of pocket is $300 $740 for the coinsurance. - Medical Program includes eye and dental as well (Single or Family). Eligible if you work 130 hrs. in the first month 2 month later.
Dues are 3.5% of gross pay with $3.35 per hr for training out of fringe. Remainder of fringe component are paid as part of the gross wage.
Construction is temporary work and positions fill and close quickly based on job needs.
Minimum experience
- 5 years as an insulator
- Valid Drivers License
