Job Summary
We are looking for a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Support Specialist to help keep our flooring projects and day-to-day operations running smoothly. This position supports customers, sales staff, project managers, and installation crews from the initial inquiry through project completion.
Responsibilities
- Answer phones, emails, and customer inquiries in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule estimates, measurements, installations, and service appointments
- Maintain customer and project information
- Assist with preparing estimates, proposals, work orders, and invoices
- Order flooring materials and supplies and help track deliveries
- Coordinate with installers regarding schedules, materials, and job information
- Communicate project updates and scheduling information to customers
- Follow up on outstanding estimates, paperwork, payments, and project details
- Help resolve scheduling or customer-service issues
- Maintain organized electronic and paper records
- Assist with basic bookkeeping and administrative duties as needed
- Provide general support to sales and management
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Professional and friendly customer-service approach
- Ability to manage several projects and priorities at once
- Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, scheduling software, and other computer programs
- Attention to detail and strong follow-through
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flooring, construction, remodeling, or trade-industry experience is preferred but not required

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
