Position Overview
The Sales & Estimator will be responsible for generating new business, conducting in-home or on-site consultations, assessing insulation needs, and delivering accurate project estimates. This is a customer-facing role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, consultative sales environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site inspections for residential and commercial insulation projects
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate insulation solutions
- Prepare and present detailed, accurate estimates and proposals
- Close sales and consistently meet or exceed revenue targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with homeowners, contractors, and property managers
- Educate customers on energy efficiency, cost savings, and available incentives
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Maintain CRM records, pipeline tracking, and follow-ups
Qualifications
- 2 years of sales, estimating, or in-home consultation experience (home services preferred)
- Strong closing skills with a consultative sales approach
- Ability to read blueprints and perform basic measurements/calculations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage a flexible schedule
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in insulation, HVAC, construction, or energy efficiency industries
- Familiarity with local building codes and rebate programs in Colorado
- CRM experience (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, ServiceTitan)
