Insulation Commandos is seeking an experienced Crew Chief to lead our installation team in Columbus, Ohio. This hands-on leadership position is ideal for an experienced insulation professional who can motivate a crew, ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently, and deliver exceptional workmanship and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise insulation installation crews on residential and light commercial projects.
• Assign daily tasks and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Install fiberglass, cellulose, spray foam, and other insulation products.
• Perform attic air sealing, insulation removal, and crawl space insulation.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company quality standards.
• Train, mentor, and coach installers on proper installation techniques and safety procedures.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Communicate with customers to explain the installation process and answer questions professionally.
• Complete job documentation and communicate project updates with management.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of insulation installation experience required.
• Previous experience leading a crew or supervising field employees preferred.
• Knowledge of fiberglass, cellulose, spray foam, attic ventilation, and air sealing techniques.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read work orders and installation specifications.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds and work in attics, crawl spaces, and varying weather conditions.
• Reliable, dependable, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to pass a background check.
