Press Brake Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking Sheet Metal Workers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a background in metal fabrication and machining, with the ability to work with various tools and equipment. This role is essential in producing high-quality metal components that meet industry standards and specifications.

Duties

• Interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings to fabricate metal components.
• Operate press brake machines to bend and form metal sheets according to specifications.
• Perform quality inspections on finished products.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
• Duties will include anything from shearing material to final assembly of the product.
• Training is available for an individual willing and wanting to start a career in this industry.

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge related to metalworking processes and machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Competent in operating press brake machines for bending operations.
• Knowledge of tooling requirements for different metalworking tasks.
• Ability to work alone as well as with others.
• Overtime required
• All skills above are not absolutely required if there is a willingness to be trained by the candidate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.69 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
