About the Position

We're seeking a Licensed Mental Health Professional to join our Riverside office as an IOP Behavioral Medicine Specialist. You will work on a beautiful campus, with a robust clinical team, specializing in workers' compensation cases. We provide high-quality intensive outpatient care to patients who have been injured at work and require comprehensive behavioral medicine intervention.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate intensive outpatient group therapy sessions focused on behavioral medicine interventions
  • Provide individual therapy for anxiety, PTSD, depression, chronic pain, sleep problems, brain injury and work-related stress. Evidenced based training is available for the right candidates, if not already trained.
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical treatment planning
  • Implement evidence-based behavioral medicine protocols for pain management, stress reduction, and functional restoration
  • Collaborate with our transdisciplinary team to deliver integrated care
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to optimize outcomes
  • Contribute to our mission of achieving exceptional patient outcomes

Required Qualifications:

  • One of the following active, unrestricted California licenses:
  • Licensed Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D.)
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
  • Current, unrestricted licensure in the State of California
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience facilitating group therapy or intensive outpatient programs
  • Clinical experience in behavioral medicine, health psychology, or integrated care settings
  • Background in depression, anxiety, PTSD, chronic pain, or brain injuries
  • Experience with Workers' Compensation, Medical/Legal, or rehabilitation settings
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of evidence-based behavioral interventions for medical populations
