What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operational Compliance Manager position at Institute on Aging?

Prepares and ensures the accuracy & timeliness of all CalAIM reporting with both a data and an operational lens. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides direct supervision to Program Coordinator (administrative position) Prepares reports for funders and internal leadership to demonstrate current operational status, metrics, and billing for CalAIM programs. Revises/edits reported data when discrepancies/errors/questions arise. Works with Senior Director and Vice President of Community Living Services in analyzing prepared data to identify areas of operational enhancement. Collaborates with Technology Services & Business Intelligence Departments in conjunction with Senior Director to ensure accurate data collection development. Maintains understanding of day-to-day operations and contract requirements in order to review reports for errors prior to submission. Tracks due dates for reports across multiple programs and ensures timely submissions. Establishes and maintains open and effective communication with health plan funders and other internal IOA departments. Attends and actively participates in team and program meetings, activities and problem-solving endeavors; contributes to open lines of communication within the team. Understands and applies the regulatory and procedural requirements of the Institute on Aging. Attends continuing education classes and/or inservice training to increase knowledge and skills as it relates to reporting and relevant Medi-Cal policy changes. All other reasonably related responsibilities as assigned. EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field; preferably Masters of Public Health. BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE: At least 2 years’ experience in data collection and analysis regarding health care services. At least 2 years’ experience working within Medi-Cal/public service/non-profit sector programming. Preferable experience working with managed care plans. Must be highly organized and ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Extensive knowledge of MS Office Suite programming (particularly MS Excel) required. Compensation Range: $ 75,433.00 - 95,400.25/Annual This amount is not necessarily reflective of actual compensation that may be earned, nor a promise of any specific pay for any specific employee, which is always dependent on actual experience, education and other factors. This range does not include any additional equity, benefits, or other non-monetary compensation which may be included.
