Overview
We are a growing endocrinology practice seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to support clinical operations, patient communication, and inbox management. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work primarily remotely, with occasional in-office responsibilities.
This position is ideal for an RN who is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and comfortable managing patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
Responsibilities
- Manage and triage clinical inbox/messages in a timely manner
- Respond to patient portal messages and phone calls
- Coordinate care and escalate urgent clinical issues to providers
- Review, pend, and track lab orders and results
- Communicate lab results and follow-up plans to patients
- Manage and organize incoming documents (labs, consults, imaging)
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
- Support patient education on medications and chronic conditions
- Assist with development and management of a Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) program
- Monitor patient-reported data (e.g., CGM, BP, weight) and follow up as needed
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New Jersey)
- REQUIRED: Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW)
- REQUIRED: Prior experience in endocrinology or primary care
- Strong clinical judgment and triage skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working independently in a remote setting
- Proficient with EMR systems and patient portals
Pay: $38.00 - $44.00 per hour
