Clinical Oral Surgery Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to patients.
- Assisting doctors and other assistants in surgery.
- Obtain pano and PA xrays, and cone beam CT scans.
- Educate patients and family members about pre-op instructions and post-op care.
- Maintain a clean, sterile environment, including instruments.
- Maintain an inventory of surgical supplies.
- Some front office duties as needed, including answering phone calls, filing, and verifying insurance benefits.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school graduate (required)
- CPR & BLS (required)
- X-ray certification (required)
- Dental experience (required)
- Oral surgery experience (helpful)
- Medical experience (helpful)
- ACLS (encouraged)
- AAOMS surgical anesthesia assistant certification (encouraged)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
