What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Operations Manager position at Institute of Dental Implantology?
The Institute of Dental Implantology is a new, premium postgraduate fellowship training the next generation of implant dentists. We're in our build phase, assembling the systems and team that will power admissions, marketing, and student and patient operations from day one. This is a founder-led brand — you'll work directly with our founder to design and run the engine that drives applications and enrollments.
We're looking for a builder-operator: someone who can both design and personally implement our marketing and admissions infrastructure in GoHighLevel, and manage a small bench of remote contractors (editors, writers, designers, ad specialists) executing under them.
This is not a strategy-only or content-only role. You will own the system end to end — build it, automate it, document it, and manage the people who feed it. If you've run a small agency, managed a VA team, or built full funnels in GHL for high-ticket, education, or healthcare clients, this is squarely in your wheelhouse.
Because we work closely and move fast, this role is on-site in Jacksonville, FL. We want someone local we can meet with and build alongside in person.
Student recruitment system (GoHighLevel)
- Lead-capture forms and landing pages
- Automated SMS/email nurture sequences
- An AI texting agent that qualifies inbound leads (program interest, timeline, financing needs)
- An application funnel with conditional logic
Patient acquisition system
- A separate funnel to bring in patients for our students to treat
- An AI appointment-booking agent
- Automated follow-up sequences for no-shows
AI lead scoring & routing
- A scoring system that tags and prioritizes leads by engagement
- Auto-routing: hot leads to our admissions team, cold leads into nurture
Automated communications
- An AI chatbot / SMS responder handling FAQs 24/7
- Escalation triggers that hand off to a human when a lead needs one
- Post-enrollment review and testimonial request automation
AI content & distribution engine
- A repeatable system that turns one source asset (video, interview, webinar, podcast, VSL) into many pieces: Reels, TikTok clips, LinkedIn/X posts, email, blog articles, and ad concepts
- Content calendar, scheduling, distribution, and performance tracking
- A library of AI prompts and workflows powering all of the above
Team & process
- Hire, manage, and QA a bench of Upwork / remote contractors
- Document clear SOPs for every system you build
- Light back-office and enrollment workflow automation, coordinated with our admin team (not bookkeeping itself)
You're a Strong Fit If You Have- Deep, hands-on GoHighLevel experience — funnels, automations, pipelines, A2P/SMS (this is a must)
- A track record building marketing and sales automation that produced measurable results
- Fluency with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, custom GPTs) and automation platforms (Make, Zapier, Airtable)
- Experience building and running AI content / repurposing systems
- Experience managing remote contractors or a VA team
- The rare combination of strategy, hands-on build, and people management
- Background in education, coaching, consulting, or healthcare marketing
- High-ticket lead generation and funnel experience
- Founder-led or personal-brand growth experience
- Examples of turning one piece of content into dozens of assets across multiple channels
On-site in Jacksonville, FL. Full-time. Must be local and available to meet and work in person.
$90,000–$110,000/year, depending on experience.
Send your resume plus a short note and links or examples of systems you've built — especially GoHighLevel funnels and AI content or automation workflows. Tell us about one system you built that turned a single input into many outputs (content, leads, or both), and the results it produced.
