The Institute of American Indian Arts is seeking a senior-level Human Resources Director to join our Human Resources Department on our beautiful Santa Fe campus. The HR Director is a key role responsible for the management of all of HR’s functions, services, policies, and programs supporting IAIA’s 130 full-time employee population. This position is required to perform at the senior level and to be a subject-matter expert on a wide range of HR and organizational issues and matters, which require proficiency in the following core HR competencies:
Required Experience And Education
Must have a BA in HR or related field and must have at least ten (10) years of direct experience at the senior-level. Must have HR expertise with a demonstrated management background of an HR Department for a complex organization with 50 employees. Must have at least a PHR Certification.
Preferred
Master’s Degree and/or SPHR / SHRM-SCP Certification. Experience within a higher education environment or a non-profit organization is preferred.
