At the Institute for Neurodegenerative Disorders (IND), we’re advancing diagnostics and treatments for Parkinson’s and related conditions through groundbreaking clinical research. As a Senior Data Analyst, Clinical Research you’ll transform complex biomedical datasets into actionable insights that accelerate discovery.
- Analyze & Integrate Data: Manage and curate multimodal clinical, imaging, biomarker, and omics datasets, ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance (21 CFR Part 11).
- Perform Analyses & Visualizations: Use Python/R and statistical methods to analyze and visualize clinical and biological data; prepare figures and reports for studies, publications, and grants.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with clinical investigators, statisticians, and external collaborators to enable effective use of IND’s datasets, including the landmark Parkinson’s Progression Markers Initiative (PPMI).
- Enable Reproducible Research: Develop and maintain documented, reproducible workflows using version control (Git) and best practices for data sharing.
- BS or MS in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biostatistics, Data Science, or related field.
- 5 years’ experience in clinical or biomedical research.
- Proficiency in Python and/or R for statistical analysis and visualization.
- Skilled with databases (Postgres, mySQL, REDCap) and BI tools (Looker, Tableau).
- Strong communicator with the ability to collaborate across scientific and technical teams.
Bonus points for:
- Experience with Parkinson’s or other neurodegenerative disease research.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (21 CFR Part 11).
- Experience contributing to peer-reviewed publications.
- Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Interest in AI-assisted data analysis.
- Salary range: $80,000–$125,000 DOE bonus eligibility
