Relevant Skills
Candidate must have the ability to:
- Provide therapeutic interventions to individuals with skill deficits and maladaptive behaviors.
- Identify client needs and provide appropriate services.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information.
- Identify problems, evaluate alternatives, and develop solutions, etc.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, colleagues, supervisors, etc.
- Listen attentively and accurately interpret verbal messages and ask appropriate questions.
- Understand the reactions of others and adjust behavior accordingly.
Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with individuals with disabilities or autism preferred
- At least 1 year of experience in ABA preferred
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field is highly desired
- Spanish-speaking candidates preferred
- ASL proficiency is a plus
Requirements
- Current Tuberculosis Clearance
- DOJ/FBI criminal background clearance
- A valid California driver's license
- Reliable and insured transportation
Compensation
- Hourly rate ($20-28)
