We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager – Acute Care to lead inpatient pharmacy operations, drive clinical excellence, and support strategic pharmacy initiatives across acute care settings. This leadership role partners closely with healthcare providers, pharmacy teams, and executive leadership to ensure high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and optimal medication management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop inpatient pharmacy teams across multiple practice settings.
- Drive pharmacy operational excellence, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing leaders, and healthcare teams to optimize medication use and patient outcomes.
- Oversee drug utilization management, formulary initiatives, staff development, and pharmacy education programs.
- Monitor pharmacy performance metrics, inventory strategies, and enterprise-wide pharmacy initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with DEA, State Board of Pharmacy, HIPAA, and accreditation standards.
Qualifications
✔ PharmD (or equivalent Pharmacy degree) required
✔ PGY1 Residency plus 3 years of pharmacist experience OR 5 years of pharmacist experience
✔ 3 years of leadership experience with direct reports
✔ 2 years of budget management experience
✔ Active Washington State Pharmacist License (required at hire)
✔ NPI required within 6 months of hire
