Job Summary
The State of Connecticut is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Salesforce development, configuration, customization, and system integration. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting Salesforce applications and solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Apex, Lightning Pages, Visualforce, SOQL, Salesforce configuration, integrations, object-oriented programming, and full-stack development. Experience working across the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, customize, and maintain Salesforce applications and solutions.
- Develop robust and scalable solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Pages, and SOQL.
- Perform Salesforce configuration, customization, and integration with internal and external systems.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions.
- Develop and maintain custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and other Salesforce components.
- Implement CRUD operations, design patterns, and object-oriented programming principles.
- Participate in application design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and integration issues.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and other developers throughout the SDLC.
- Ensure solutions follow Salesforce development best practices, coding standards, security requirements, and performance considerations.
- Support solution implementation and ongoing enhancements based on evolving business requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer.
- Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, Visualforce, and Lightning Pages.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration and integrations.
- Experience with full-stack development.
- Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Experience with CRUD operations and software design patterns.
- Ability to analyze requirements and develop appropriate technical solutions.
- Experience working across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Interview Requirement
This position requires candidates to attend BOTH interview rounds strictly in person in Hartford, Connecticut.
