- The main duties are diagnosing and repair.
- They don't have to do a ton of computer duties so being strong in excel or other similar programs aren't a hard requirement. (Many things they can be trained on)
- This person has to want to learn new things and be okay with training.
- SAP and Medical Device Industry Experience is a HUGE PLUS but NOT REQUIRED. If you candidates have one or the other or both - they will stand out.
- This position has been open for quite some time on the direct hire side and they have had no luck. The biggest issue is they keep sending people that just want to sit at their desk - HM says this is ALL hands-on work.
- The HM is a strong believer in training and will be able to provide that additional support - so this should be a nice transition for any candidate interested.
- The HM has stressed MANY times that he is all about finding the right person and converting them. So, I would label this one as Contract to Hire/Perm. The timing on that will be based on the candidates experience and meeting the expectations of the role. (So basically, how fast can they hit the ground running)
